    thank you Anthony, we think very highly of you and the ARC. I have never had the ability to witness a place other than ARC that has the mental,physical and spiritual growth as the gentlemen that are blessed enough to be apart of such an amazing program.
    thank you for all you do for the community and folks like myself that is learning how to do this by my skirt tail ..... wingin it as the youngesters might say ...lol

Choosing treatment versus sober living

   When getting sober we think that the hardest part is the actual stopping the use of a substance, we do not counter in the fact of what are we doing after we get clean? Life as we have known it is never going to be the same if we are serious about our recovery. Most all of us do not have friends that are sober, I mean why would we they were no fun or of importance to us using, they were Captain buzz kill right?    The places we hung out were probably not the safest either, we cant go hang out in a bar sober to be with our friends that will only lead us back down the " I"ll only have one road" and end up well you know. So what is our plan after treatment? Most places has special "discharge" planners to help you figure out a place for you to go but they do not factor in the information of what is best for each individual.
